You Are Amazing “Kick Butt” Card!

Card 126

Hi Stampin’ Peeps!

Know anyone who is amazing? Someone who Kicks Butt everyday, and who deserves to be recognized? If so, then this card is perfect!!

I used the ENJOY LIFE Stamp Set for the background “Kick Butt” sentiment and for the silhouette; and I used ALL THINGS THANKS for the “Amazing” sentiment!

To make the background, I randomly stamped the sentiment in full Crumb Cake, and then stamped off once for a lighter version of Crumb Cake. For the Granny Apple Green, I stamped off once, and then twice, for two lighter versions of the new, bright green color!

To finish off things, I used NATURE’S TWINE in Crumb Cake under the main sentiment, and I love how everything came together to give the card a sort of rustic look!

(PS…The silhouette is stamped in Merry Merlot!)

Happy Stampin’! 🙂

Blueberry Bushel “Wild About You” Card!

Card 125
Hi Stampin’ Peeps!

Today I’m playing with the ANIMAL OUTING Stamp Set! Aren’t these giraffes just so stinkin’ cute? I used one of the new 2018-2020 In Colors, Blueberry Bushel, to stamp the animals, and I paired it with Highland Heather–one of my faves from the new Color Revamp!!

The paper is the 2018-2010 IN COLOR DSP, and you can get the same patterns in all of the Color Families! (You can find them all on page 191 of the Annual Catalog!)

Classic Ink Stamp Pad Families

Speaking of Color Families…Don’t forget about the Stamp Pad Family Promotion going on now! Join Stampin’ Up! as a demo, and get a full set of Ink Pads in the Color Family of your choice–that’s ten Ink Pads for FREE (a $75 value!)

Granny Apple Green Daisy Punch Card!

Card 124

Hi Stampin’ Peeps!

Here’s the card I promised from Tuesday using the DAISY DELIGHT Stamp Set, and the DAISY PUNCH! This flower and punch are very versatile, and are really easy to punch because the image matches the punch on all sides–which means you can line up the punch in any direction!

(Note: The DAISY DELIGHT Stamp Set and the DAISY PUNCH are sold separately!)

Again, I used the TEA ROOM SPECIALTY DSP, and cut it to be the same size as my card front! Though the color used in the paper is Old Olive, I love the way the Granny Apple Green coordinates with the different shades of Old Olive on the paper! As an added bonus, I got to use the TINTED FACETED BUTTONS for another flower center!

Happy Stampin’! 🙂

Tea Room Daisy Delight Thank You Card!

Card 123
Hi Stampin’ Peeps!

This week I’m sharing more cards using the TEA ROOM SPECIALTY DSP, and I’m also using the DAISY DELIGHT Stamp Set! Thursday’s card will also feature the DAISY PUNCH, and if you don’t have the Daisy’s…you need to get them!!

For this card, I did something I’ve seen a lot of in the annual catalog, and I cut the DSP to be the same size as the base of the card! For the base, I used a standard piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock (8.5in x 5.5in–scored at 4.25in), then I just adhered the DSP to the top, and let the pretty paper do most of the work!! The card base is light, so it’s your choice whether or not you add something to the inside! I didn’t think anything was needed so I left it blank, and this card came together in a snap!!

Rich Razzleberry is the coordinating color for the DSP, but I used Blackberry Bliss Ink to stamp the sentiment, and I think it really makes the words POP!!

Note: The TEA ROOM SPECIALTY DSP is thinner than our regular DSP. When using snail to adhere it to your card base, don’t only go around the edges, or your paper will come away from the cardstock when the card is handled. It’s not a huge deal, but for a cleaner, more professional look, go around the edges, but then also run your snail on the diagonal in both directions–you’ll be a lot happier with the results!!

Happy Stampin’! 🙂

Call Me Clover Dandelion Wishes Card!

Card 122

Hi Stampin’ Peeps!

Today I’m sharing this week’s other card from the DANDELION WISHES Stamp Set, and I have to admit, this one is my fave! I like the clean and simple style, and it’s perfect paired with Call Me Clover! Call Me Clover is one of the brand-new 2018-2020 In Colors, and it’s an awesome green!

I used Basic Grey to stamp the dandelion images on this card, and then I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the TINTED FACETED BUTTONS to the center of each flower! The result is a quick and easy, beautiful card!

PS…The buttons also come in Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove (all in the same pack), and those two colors would also look great as a base for this card!

Happy Stampin’! 🙂

Nature’s Poem Dandelion Wishes Card!

Card 121
Hi Stampin’ Peeps!

When I first got my brand-new annual catalog at OnStage in Hartford, CT, the DANDELION WISHES Stamp Set was one of the sets I was most excited about! The dandelion images are so beautiful, and I love the “wish-full” sentiments!

Both cards this week feature DANDELION WISHES, but the styles for both vary greatly, and love how they both came out! You can do so much with this set, and I’m already looking forward to using it again!

The DSP on this card is from the NATURES POEM DSP Pack, and though it pairs the Mint Macaron with Whisper White, I decided to use Very Vanilla for my stamped images! I love the contrast between the DSP and the Vanilla, and I love the final result! Even though I also love my Stampin’ Dimensionals, I kept everything on this card flat–weird, I know–because I thought it suited the card better!

Happy Stampin’! 🙂

Tea Room Accented Blooms “Hello” Card!

Card 120
Hi Stampin’ Peeps!

Today I’m back with the ACCENTED BLOOMS Stamp Set, but this time I’m pairing it with the TEA ROOM Specialty Designer Series Paper! You guys! I think this DSP might be my fave out of the new catty! I can’t say for sure, YET, but I definitely LOVE it!! The beautiful patterns make it easy to pair with sentiments, and I love how the sentiments from ACCENTED BLOOMS are easily punched with the TAILORED TAG Punch!

The base layer for this card is Calypso Coral, and I used the Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon to add an extra finishing touch!

Happy Stampin’! 🙂
